What We Share
What hopes, experiences, qualities, or desires appear in both of your visions?
A guided couple reflection
This exercise is completed together after each partner has created an individual My Relationship Vision. Set aside a little unhurried time, bring both visions, and sit somewhere you can reflect side by side.
Your responses are saved on this device as you go.
A moment of preparation
Bring your reflections together
You may use the email copy, the results page on a device, or a printed copy—whatever makes it easiest to read through both visions together.
How this works
Each partner created a picture of the relationship they want. Now you’ll look at those visions together.
First, you’ll notice the hopes and desires you share. These will become Our Relationship Vision.
Then, you’ll notice the things that matter to one of you but do not naturally overlap. These will become Our Relationship Potential.
“This isn’t about deciding whose vision is right. It’s about discovering what you share and becoming curious about where you’re different.”
Reflect side by side
Read through both of your Relationship Visions together. As you go, notice what feels shared and what seems unique to one of you. Add what you notice to the appropriate space below. Your words don’t need to match exactly for something to be shared.
What hopes, experiences, qualities, or desires appear in both of your visions?
What appears in one person’s vision but doesn’t clearly appear in the other’s?
For example: One of us wrote about traveling and having more adventures together. The other wrote more about financial security and creating predictable routines at home.
Your reflections save automatically on this device.
One final step
Both partners will receive the completed Our Relationship Vision and Our Relationship Potential by email. Each partner’s My IMAGO Journey will also be updated when a matching Hub profile exists.
